​El Jefe Sporting Club is South Texas' outdoor destination for shotgun enthusiasts.  The private club is for those who want to excel in their passion for shooting sporting clays.  Sporting Club memberships are limited, to protect our natural wildlife and to cater to our select members.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

  • All Memberships have a one-time initiation fee of $300 + tax.

  • Memberships are not transferable.

  • Silver memberships do not include family members.  Family members are considered guests.​

  • All guests must be accompanied by member, and must sign indemnity agreements at every visit.

  • No initiation refunds will be offered.

  • Silver Memberships will be pre-paid upfront for one year, and pro-rated the first year of membership.

  • Corporate Members will be pre-paid upfront for one year and prorated the first year.

  • All member charges are subject to a 6.75% sales tax.

  • Memberships are based on calendar year, prorations will be applied the first year, dependent on the month member joins. Initiation fees are not prorated.

El Jefe Hunt Club Membership Application

Membership Requirements

  1. Applicants must be able to legally own a firearm in the State of Texas

  2. Applicants must be 18 years old or older

  3. Applicants must have no felony record


    Once approved for membership in the El Jefe Hunt Club, I understand that my family members using the facilities must sign a club waiver once a year. Guests must sign a waiver located in the event center, every time they visit. Members, family and guests must abide by the El Jefe Hunt Club Rules and follow safe gun handling and shooting practices. Minors under the age of 18 must always accompany an adult club member or be under 4-H supervision at every visit and must attend an Initial Safety Orientation. Guests must always accompany club member.


    Upon approval of membership and receipt of payment, I will be issued codes to access property gates and event center.


    With acceptance of these terms, I am responsible for any breach of safety and will be held accountable for my actions and the actions of my family members and guests. As a condition and requirement of membership, I am required to complete and sign the RELEASE, INDEMNITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, Membership Contract, and abide by the El Jefe Hunt Club Rules.
